Why do you require certain caterers?
The caterers that the Venue has chosen for our list are some of the best, it helps the Venue insure that you will enjoy your catering experience. It also helps your event flow smoothly when the catering team is familiar with the Venue. We work with caterers that offer a variety of different menu styles, and work with a wide range of budgets.

It also helps your event flow smoothly when the catering team is familiar with the Venue. We work with caterers that offer a variety of different menu styles, and work with a wide range of budgets.
Does The Venue at Flying Horse Ranch Provide AV Equipment?
No, AV and sound equipment should be provided by your DJ, Band, or other vendor.
Can I bring in my own alcohol?
The Venue does not have a liquor license. We require Peak Beverage to serve all of the alcohol at every event.
Is Peak Beverage cost effective?
Very! You can save up to 50% on your hosted bar compared to Venues who do not use Peak Beverage.
What is included in the cost of the venue for a wedding?
12 exclusive hours of the Rustic Barn and 14,000 square foot Ranch House, ceremony site, bridal suite, groom’s quarters, white ceremony chairs for 200 guests, wooden X back banquet chairs for 200 guests, tables for 200 guests, and 15 cocktail tables for cocktail hour, adjacent parking, as well as a parking attendant for your event.
Are there any additional costs?
Flying Horse Ranch has a flat Venue rental fee. There is not sales tax, service charges, etc. We do required event insurance through wedsafe.com an average cost for this is $175. We also require a day of coordinator. Your day of coordinator and event insurance are purchased by you as the client, and not an additional fee from The Venue at Flying Horse Ranch.
Does the cost of the venue include food and beverage?
No. Please contact one of our wonderful required caterers, and Peak Beverage for food and beverage quotes.
Why do I have to get WedSafe event insurance?
Event insurance is required by many Venues.  Flying Horse Ranch, your catering company, and Peak Beverage are all insured. We ask that you as the client are insured as well, we want you to be protected in case of any incidents or property damage occurs.
What level of coverage do you require for my event?
We require a $1 Million policy with a maximum $1000 deductible.
How do I purchase the liability insurance required by Flying Horse Ranch?
We recommend WedSafe insurance, the entire process takes about 10 – 15 minutes, you will find the Venue listed as an option on the Wedsafe website. There is also a link to WedSafe on our website.
Why does the Venue require a day of coordinator?
The Venue requires a day of coordinator to handle all of your special details on the day of your event. This insures your event flows seamlessly, and you and your family members are enjoying a stress free day.
Can a friend or family member be my day of coordinator?
No, we ask that you hire a professional, licensed and insured coordinator.
What is the average cost for a day of coordinator?
A rough estimate is between $1000 – $1200.
Do you require a final walk-through?
Yes. A final walk through is required 2 – 4 weeks before your Wedding day. In addition to yourself, the following vendors are expected to attend. Your caterer, day of coordinator, and Flying Horse Ranch operator. The following documentation will need to be completed by the final walk through, event insurance, event time line and final payment.  We generally schedule the final walk through on Wednesdays and Thursdays.
Is my deposit refundable?

Cancellation Policy:   While it is difficult to calculate the damages to Flying Horse Ranch if the event is canceled, it is agreed that the following percentages represent the agreed sum that the Venue will receive as liquidated damages.  Functions which are canceled after the execution of a signed contract will be subject to the following percentages of the total estimated contract value.

What is provided for tables and chairs?
The Venue at Flying Horse Ranch provides the following event equipment:

200 White Ceremony Chairs

200 Rustic X Back Chairs

25 Six Foot Banquet Tables

15 Five Foot Round Tables

15 Two and a half foot Cocktail Tables

Your Venue Representative with help you create a custom floor plan for your event.

Yes! On the preferred vendors link, you will notice three local hotels we work with.
Are you affiliated with The Club at Flying Horse?
Yes! We are also happy to help you create a Flying Horse weekend! The Club can host your rehearsal dinner, brunch, or provide lodging for your out of town guests depending on availability!
