RIDE THE RANCH

We invite you to come explore the breathtaking scenery & wildlife at Flying Horse Ranch. We offer a 1 1/2 hour long Trail Riding Program and an hour long Wagon Riding Program through the beautiful landscape of Flying Horse Ranch. Both programs require a 30 minute early arrival time for paperwork signing and instructions.

2 Hour Trail Ride (including a 30 minute check-in)

Flying Horse Club Members $35/rider

Non-Member $60/rider

Depart the Ranch headquarters through the spectacular meadow, continuing on past several ponds, a working windmill and atop to the highest point on the ranch. Here you will have breathtaking views of Pikes Peak, the Rampart Range and the entire Flying Horse Ranch property. You will see neighboring working ranches and ride through draws and pine trees along the way to the largest pond on the property and then return back through the meadow.

Our Trail Riding program is designed for up to 6 guests and can accommodate all levels of riders and abilities. Please note that you have to be at least 10 years old to ride and weigh less than 250 pounds. All riders under the age of 18 must be accompanied by their parent/guardian. The riding horses at Flying Horse Ranch are chosen for their temperament, disposition and athleticism. We will pair riders with the horse that best suits their ability and riding preferences.

Reservations are required

You can cancel up to 1-week before your ride. Larger groups will need to cancel 2-week before so we can refill your spot.

Please arrive 30 minutes prior to your reservation time to get checked in, sign a liability waiver and get paired with your riding horse.  Once you enter the ranch, follow the four black and white Ride the Ranch signs with directional arrows. You will check in with ranch staff at the tack shed just outside the outdoor arena. You’ll see the trail horses tied to the arena fence.
