Depart the Ranch headquarters through the spectacular meadow, continuing on past several ponds, a working windmill and atop to the highest point on the ranch. Here you will have breathtaking views of Pikes Peak, the Rampart Range and the entire Flying Horse Ranch property. You will see neighboring working ranches and ride through draws and pine trees along the way to the largest pond on the property and then return back through the meadow.<\/span><\/p>\nOur Trail Riding program is designed for up to 6 guests and can accommodate all levels of riders and abilities. Please note that you have to be at least 10 years old to ride and weigh less than 250 pounds. All riders under the age of 18 must be accompanied by their parent\/guardian. The riding horses at Flying Horse Ranch are chosen for their temperament, disposition and athleticism. Riding Programs<\/h1>\n
Guided Trail Rides: Explore 1,400- acres of Flying Horse Ranch and ride\u00a0among the Black and Red Angus cattle.\u00a0<\/b><\/p>\n

Reservations are required<\/strong><\/h3>\nYou can cancel up to 1-week before your ride. Larger groups will need to cancel 2-week before so we can refill your spot. <\/span><\/p>\nPlease arrive 30 minutes prior to your reservation time to get checked in, sign a liability waiver and get paired with your riding horse. \u00a0Once you enter the ranch, follow the four black and white Ride the Ranch signs with directional arrows. You will check in with ranch staff at the tack shed just outside the outdoor arena. Should a weather system come through during the duration of your ride and the Wrangler deems it not appropriate to continue the ride, the group will immediately be taken back to the headquarter staging area. Rain checks will be distributed on a case-by-case basis.<\/span>
