SCENIC WAGON RIDES

We invite you to come explore the breathtaking scenery & wildlife at Flying Horse Ranch. We offer an hour long Wagon Riding Program and a 1 1/2 hour Trail Riding Program through the beautiful landscape of Flying Horse Ranch. Both programs require a 30 minute early arrival time for paperwork signing and instructions.

Enjoy the breathtaking views of a working cattle and horse ranch atop of an authentic hay wagon at Flying Horse Ranch. Our magnificent, dappled gray, Percheron draft horses are driven by experienced “teamsters” who will take your group along the trails of the ranch. You’ll see rolling hills of grazing cattle, a working windmill, hay fields, and much more. You’ll also get the chance to meet and visit with some of the draft horses of Flying Horse Ranch.

Our Wagon Riding program is the perfect activity for your entire family or social group. There are no age limits, and you may book your group for up to 10 people.

Reservations are required

All wagon rides must be booked at least 7 days prior to your desired date. You can cancel up to 3 days before your scheduled ride. Any cancellations after that point will be charged in full.

We ask that you please arrive 30 minutes prior to your reservation time to get checked in and sign a liability waiver.  Once you enter the ranch, go through the “walk through” door on the west side of the wood barn.

Weather systems can move into the ranch very suddenly, so should the forecast call for inclement weather, we will notify as soon as practicable to reschedule. Frigid temperatures, ice, snow and rain would be typical reasons for rescheduling a wagon ride. Should a weather system come through during the duration of your ride and the Teamster(s) deems it not appropriate to continue the ride, the group will immediately be taken back to the headquarter staging area. Rain checks will be distributed on a case-by-case basis.
